Winemaker Notes
The Old Wente selections of Chardonnay provide great texture and perfume. The glass is full with aromas of yellow plums, honeysuckle blossoms, hazelnuts, and Meyer lemon. Quite dynamic on the palate, the wine shows breadth of flavor with mineral, tangerine, white peach, and torched meringue. The finish is long and juicy leaving staying hints of incense.
