Kings County Peated Rye Whiskey

If peated bourbon gives a little complexity to a familiar product, a hint of peat sends rye whiskey into the strange and beautiful territory. This is one of the most unusual whiskeys we've made. Peat, oak, and a backbone of rye spice intertwine to make for a sweet & savory whiskey that drinks well above its stated age.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: wood smoke, maple, allspice
Palate: peppered jerky, maple glaze, clove, anise, cinnamon stick, currant
Finish: smoky barbeque character and a spicy tingle
