King Estate North by Northwest Red Blend

The Red Blend has a rich, dark red color with a violet tinge. This wine is complex with scents of black currant, dried clove, tobacco leaf, and leather. The palate is robust with notes of cassis, chocolate, brewed coffee, vanilla, and softened tannins.

PRODUCTION NOTES

Fruit for the vintage was cold soaked for extraction, then punched down, and pumped over. For optimum flavor and body, this wine underwent delestage, with extended maceration before being aged 10 months in French and American oak barrels, 25% of which were new.
