Amici Olema Pinot Noir

This is a silky smooth Pinot Noir showcasing the best of Sonoma County winemaking from a legendary vintage. The wine is a blend of Russian River Valley, Sonoma Coast and Sonoma County Pinot Noir from premier vineyards. Deliciously drinkable, it features the classic Russian River Valley characteristics of perfumed aromas and bright focused cherry flavors, framed by delicate tannins of the Sonoma Coast.

Is widely regarded as one of the best vintages on record for Sonoma winemaking. The ideal year began with a mild spring and no frosts, and continued with a summer and fall that brought warm, even temperatures and no heat waves. Throughout the growing season the vines enjoyed warm days and cool nights, allowing a long, slow ripening that resulted in beautifully balanced wines with fully developed flavors and fresh acidity.

An outpouring of beautiful ripe cherries intertwine with a hint of sweet vanilla on this wine. On the palate, dark berry flavors mingle with hints of cola, leather, earth and white pepper. Perfectly balanced refined fruit and silky tannins create a seductive, smooth wine.
