Mirassou Merlot

Our Mirassou California Merlot is a luscious wine with flavors of rich blackberry and black cherry, layered over vanilla undertones and hints of toasted oak and brown spice. This full-bodied wine has a lush mouthfeel and a lingering, smooth finish.

Grapes for our California Merlot were gently destemmed, resulting in some whole berries. The must was fermented in a combination of cone sweep, rotary and upright fermenters at a maximum temperature of 85F for five to seven days before undergoing malolactic fermentation.
