A new winery and wine to us, but one we'll be hearing a lot from in the future. Rob Murray started up in 2006 and is making rich, creamy, wines from hillside sites in Paso Robles. This single-vineyard Cab is a beauty, with big aromas and flavors ripe blackberry, blueberry pie, and black plum fruit and deep accents of chocolate and spice. Finishes rich and long with dusty cocoa powder lingering. Supple and smooth enough to sip and a terrific match for anything hot off the grill!
