Mothers Vanilla Winter Grind Stout

We have released our first Winter Grind spin-off! Our custom espresso roast from the Mudhouse is run through our brand-spanking-new coffee grinder to create the freshest coffee character possible. The "cold pressed" coffee combines with a smooth, medium-bodied stout. This is the Winter Grind platform on which we build the vanilla character. We used a combination of Madagascar, Mexican, Indian, Tongan and Tahitian vanilla beans to create a creamy, full, complex real vanilla flavor. The resulting beer has Winter Grind's characteristic espresso nose. The flavor starts with a bit of coffee bite, then moves into a creamy vanilla burst, which almost overtakes the coffee. Vanilla flavors slowly taper into a lingering dry coffee finish.
