Elrods Old Fashioned Cocktail Syrup

"Elrod’s Old Fashioned Cocktail Syrup came about with my love of Old Fashioned and great Bourbon! I tried multiple premixed syrups and was unimpressed to say the least. To make one it’s a pain and complicated to have simple syrup, sugar cubes, dashes of bitters, organge slices, cocktail cherries, etc. plus keep up with the blend of all that you like. With my chef background, and being a former restaurant and bar owner, I set out to come up with a delicious but simple easy to use pre mixed Old Fashioned Syrup. After multiple batches and changes I came up with our proprietary blend of sugar, citrus oils, premium bitters, and cocktail cherries to bring to you Elrod’s Old Fashioned Cocktail Mix!"

"Simply mix 1/2-1 oz of Elrod’s with 2 oz of your favorite bourbon over ice and mix! Simple as that! If you want to step it up garnish with an orange peel, orange slice, or cocktail cherry but all the flavors are already ther for you! You can adjust the mix if you like it a tad sweeter you want that 1oz of Elrod’s. Personally I like to taste the bourbon and have that sweet note of our syrup but not overpower the bourbon. Like Fred Noe of Jim Beam says, you enjoy it any damn way you like!!"
